Meet a bit of my world

I was born in Portugal, in a small town by the river. Being by the sea and mountains is my happy place.
I always loved to craft and explore around. As an adult this translated into study biological sciences and later visual communication.
I want to be challenged to compose figures and designs that pass your core message together with the vibe and attitude of your team.
From visually describing pathways, organisms, methods, ecology,… to promote your valuable work - I believe learning keeps us alive and motivates us to keep on going, so I look forward to explore new topics as well!
Ultimately, my aim is to contribute to a more appealing and fun science communication. Come along :)

Work method

from concept to visual

1. Learn the science

I read some papers about the scientific field in question and discuss with you about the references and values aimed to be integrate in the image

2. First sketch

I draw an initial visual that expresses the concept intended with description of its elements

I refine the design according to the feedback

3. Ping-pong until final result
